Good morning everyone. And Afternoon to you Hunter and Myta if you in the 'House at the moment. I'm in school right now supposed to be resarching about the European Green Crab and how it has affected the Eastern Seaboard, but I really don't feel like it; it's Friday and it's like 70 degrees right now.
My dad is going in for surgery today. He's having a lymph node removed. It isn't cancerous, but they aren't taking any chances. He's going to be spending the next 2 weeks at home, so we're going to do our best to help him get back on his feet.

DAMNIT: I should never have to shred my own character sheet in frustration.
Goodmornin Ninja, Seph-Owa, Shadowfox and to our new member MooKaZoo, Psych(goodluck on that surgery)
Looks like I've got some company. Hi MKZ, im from Calamba City, Laguna. Nice to met you. Im also new here at the coffeehouse and Im workin here as a friend, a coffeeshop regular, a multi-tasking shop helper, someone to talk to, and the Coffeehouse's Nightwatch and Night Security. I make sure Im here when everyone's sleepin. I post here early Morning, and when everyone is usually not around(late night). I now dedicate myself in helping Omna and Arguas in the cofeehouse chores and I keep watch at it especially at night. Later im goin to my sleep, and come back at night Eastern or should I say "omna" time. Good mornin'
Dont Worry Psych. Im sure your dad's surgery will be fine. Ill also pray for you and your family. I hope your dad gets well soon. You didnt get alot of sleep? So am I. You know, and I hope all the guys should know, That I have decided on a one cool thing. I have dedicated myself into being the Coffeehouse's Nightwatcher and helper to Omna and Arguas. Ill be in charge of securing the House at night. Kinda cool eh? Its the least I can do here since I almost have my shift at night. Might as well guard the house and maintain it going nice and fine. Im kinda happy with my new job. I have done this by myself of my own free will. I will serve the coffehouse well.
I am honored that you have decided to help us in this way, Hunter... Your name is rather appropriate for it as well!!
As for me, I'm exhausted... its such a beautiful day out!!! And I get my Nintendo DS in a few short hours!
And then a sorority girl that I hired as a maid last night, is gonna come over around 4... omg I'm excited, I get to have some serious gaming time, and a clean room all at once! Woo! But first, I need a nap! I'm borrowing FFI & II and Zelda, Link to the Past GBA games from Arguas so that i have SOMETIHNG to play on my DS until I can get to the mall to buy it

Anyway I'm exhausted.... Sleep. now.
Why Thank you My lovely Hostess.
WOW! YOU HAVE A NEW DS?? I WISH I COULD ALSO HAVE ONE!!
Also, my friend has this "pet" game in DS. I forgot the game title, but he really had a cute dog as a pet. he trains it, feeds it, and many more(like a tamagochi thing). Well anyways, have a nice game and Sleep Omna. Ill take watch at the shop until its my time to sleep.
Wait, the Coffeehouse is serving Filipino now? I'll have to check it out. Which food's are you serving, Hunter?
How do you spell ponset? (the noodle dish, I've just spelled it phonetically)
Im not volunteering for a cook, but its Spelled Pansit.
I volunteered as the Coffeehouse's Nightwatcher. You know, the person who looks after and protects the Coffeehouse especially at night, since I work late night up to morning. (more like of security) . I also volunteered to help Omna in some chores.^_^ Im kinda here when everyone's asleep so if there are people still awake at that times I'd be happy to stay and talk and still keep the thread moving on.
Anyways, im kinda sleepy. Time for you guys to rock the thread again. I'll See ya tonight guys. Have a nice day.
Ahhhhh - late morning and already some drama (mostly in real life).
Myta: Sorry to see ya go but that's life, y'know?...
Welcome to MKZ! Call me CA since you seem to have a knack for shortening handles.
DS: Enjoy yours Danica! And Hunter, would that game be called Nintendogs by any chance? It's quite popular from what i understand... I kinda wanted the Labrador and friends one.
As for me the last few days have been dealing with the dumbass cable company. See, they never sent this month's bill and its due on the 28th. And they plan to send it to the Florida location where my grandmother is at (she pays for half the bill). This is gonna cut it close... TOO close. I hope they extend the deadline so we dont have to pay the 50 dollar late charge.
Add that stress to the stress already caused yesterday when my mom almost wiped my DS's firmware somehow (I saved it myself somehow) and well... its just a mess.
I had a feeling something was up. Your last few comments when we last talked, then not seeing you at all the last few days. I do not know if you will see this post or not, so I will email you as well. I am behind you 100%.
You brought something to my life I needed, I am just very sad that in order to do that, you had to eventually not come to this site at all. That is not fair to you or any of your friends at all. You are a strong girl, and very intelligent. These are just a few of the things I love about you. But if you were to force youself to do things you were not happy with in order to be in my life, then you would not be the girl I love.
I am behind you 100%. If ever you need me for anything, you always know where to find me. Yes I am heart broken, but my concern for you takes precidence.
Yeah, uhm...not really gonna comment on the whole Myta thing because I never really met her, to be honest. I hope everything works out for the best, though.
Welcome to MKZ. Everybody's welcome at the 'house, yo =)
Today's friday, which means as soon as Mamma Jamma is off work we're headed out to the parents' place. Fine by me, really, because there's trouble a-brewin' in the Den again and I do NOT feel like getting into it tonight. I just wanna hang out, eat free food, try not to break the DS because Lost Magic is frustrating, and forget about it all.
Also, last night's chat was nice and refreshing. Are we planning on having regular chats, not just for special occasions? If so, that'd be cool.
Our college got evacuated today. We had a fire alarm (thinking it was just a drill), so we all filed out to the grass behind the college itself. About 5 minutes later police were literally swarming across the front of the college, and then through to the back, where we were. They told us to stay on the field, but as far away from the buliding(s) as possible. They then police lined up all entrances and exits. An hour and a half later, we were let back in to get our stuff and were told to leave A.S.A.P. It had been a bomb scare, a serious one. As we walked back, there was a big load of shattered glass with greeny brown liquid pouring out on the hard court. We were all unharmed, but it was very...exciting.
The second thing I have to say is more exciting, from my point of view. And this is gonna sound a little lame, so bear with me. Anyhoo, the girl I've had a crush on since, like, November, and I have been getting pretty close. She keeps sending compliments my way and asking about my preferences in women. Fingers crossed, but don't hold your breath. I'm about as nervous about doing something about it as I ever have been about anything.* And that's a lot of 'about'.
*I would usually class her as "way out of my league".
'Fox.
Wow, that reminds me of a time in high school where someone pulled the fire alarm and it was pouring rain outside. I (brilliantly) had my umbrella in my backpack and took it with me. I had like 2 or 3 girls huddled around me trying not to get any wetter.
Speaking of girls, go get her! Best of luck on that front.

*Mumbles something about DS* Don't mind me, I'm just kinda bitter about the fact that I can get one, but no games for it yet. I'll have to wait until next week when I get paid. I'm not sure which game I'll pick up first, but I might even take it to work for the slow days.
Hello to MKZ! Welcome and enjoy your stay.
Myta, sorry to see you go, but it sounds like a lot of RL issue are getting in the way, and I wish you the best.
@ Myta - I completly understand, and respect your actions. You have a brilliant mind with a strong grasp on the duality of things, which is very rare and valuable in this world. You'll be missed kiddo, know that, but I have faith that you're doing what you believe in, and following your heart. I regret that I wasn't able to get tons of good recepies to you. Most of mine are things I've reworked and I've been trying to get them down for you. But hopefully one day in the future our paths will cross again an I can teach you how to make Bastilla.
*hugs*
Hasta Luego
@Ether - I'm going to have to get a DS just to play DQ9. Is there a way we could all play together? I don't know crap about how the DS works, as I've never had an interest in buying one until now. If we all can, I call dibs on any caster type class!
@Everyone - I want to thank you all for the kind words and well-wishing! My back does feel a touch better, though I still don't feel like doing anything, but I'm about to go visit my chiropractor. She is amazing and I'll be good as new before long.
When Dragon Quest 9 comes out I expect to form a party with Kevin and Buzz. I wanna be the fighter! =)
What I really want to play right now is Hotel Dusk. After seeing actual gameplay movies and everything, it looks so stylish and well thought out.
Dragon Quest 9? Awesome. When is it coming out and for what system? I'll be the mage and torch people with fireballs. BURN!
As for DS games, I've got a bunch listed that I wanted to get, but I'll probably pick up something I know will keep me occupied like Castlevania, Mario Kart, Zelda (if it's out yet), FF3, or Elite Beat Agents. Someone here, Nai, I think recommended Lunar Knights, so I might give that a look as well.
I don't know when DQ9 is coming out, unfortunately. It isn't out in Japan yet but is almost finished with development. It's the most anticipated game in Japan =)
They really changed up the formula; combat is in real-time now like a Seiken Densetsu game. Up to four people can connect via Wi-Fi to play together as a party. It sounds like an awesome experience.
Ahh so you have to own a Wi-Fi to play with a large group over distance. Hmm I don't have any plans to get a Wi-Fi, and if that's the only method of playing, I might not be able to.
I agree, it does sound like an amazing experience. I just hope that the Wi-Fi isn't the only way.
Wow I wish I could just go home right now. I could use some shopping to take my mind off things (Mall, not Photo...though that would be nice too.)
I have a new blog entry, if anyone is reading it besides Mams and Ala-babes. And yes Mams, I have read your blog entries. I have not read anything recent but I do look at people's blogs when I am bored here at work.
No word on the stolen deck. If it cannot be found (most likely) then I am giving all of my cards to Doug to compensate for the loss of his cards. Which will mean no more paper Magic for me.
Does anyone know if DQ9 is a 3 or 4 person party system yet? I know it's not gonna come out here till next year sometime but I'm definitely picking up Wi-Fi so if interested in a party member I should be around. Note: For lack of a better term I'd be a Paladin - AKA that guy that heals and buffs everyone else then charges for massive damage.
Edit: Booo to the guy who stole Doug's stuff. I know exactly what its like to have stuff stolen...
Shah: Wi-Fi itself really isn't that expensive. Wi-Fi dongles cost only about 30 bucks... Of course it might not be worth it if you dont know a lot of people to play online with.
Happy Holidays!

It's morning here at the moment. I'm still kinda tired because I didn't get a lot of sleep last night.
Oh well, not like I have anything specific to do, so it's no big deal.
that sounds pretty scary. Thank goodness you are okay. I know where you are coming from regarding that girl, so my fingers are crossed for you too.
