For my part, life's been kicking my ass lately, so I haven't really had the time to post a lot in here. I barely have enough time to moderate the dumbasses on Salvation. And when I do, I'm usually thoroughly out of patience by the end of it.
MikeyG - you're getting a holly jolly kick in the balls from the Fates right now. Lovely ladies aren't they? You have my sympathies man. I hope things look up for you.

Mikey: sounds rough. The cops telling you that they'll never catch the kids who did it is kind of bad policing if you ask me, but maybe they'd rather be upfront with you than giving you false hope or something. Hope things get better for you!
What really got me was that they didn't really do much of anything. I didn't expect a full forensics team to investigate my break-in, but they could have at least dusted for prints. All they did was take my information and do a once over on my SUV. The whole thing only took a couple minutes.
I'm in the market for one, preferably one that spent some time in an SUV. Do we match?
Trust me, you wouldn't have wanted mine, it was an ancient Shuffle. The long rectangle kind. If you can even find someone selling such an old item, it's not for much more than $20. It's kinda funny that they took it considering my phone charger and my coffee change were probably worth more. Oh well, I guess no one expects a thief to be discerning.

Oh, for serious? BAD police work there. They should have dusted for prints. Of course they can't catch the people who did it--they didn't bother to find out who the bad guys are...
That's terrible. Even though I respect police and what they do, there's always a handful that I'd like to shake and go "Why the **** are you a cop?!"
Merry Christmas to you too!

That is kind of ********. Just because someone's doing a job that helps people out doesn't give them a caveat to do a ****** job at it and screw people over. If they weren't ****ing things up, someone else would be doing the same job that's presumably more dedicated, professional and competent. That applies whether it's police, soldier, doctor, teacher, fireman, lawyer, whatever.
Edit: Damn, that's a lot of asterisks.
Anyway. Back from the Army for a couple weeks (well, one's almost gone now) vacation. Enjoying the downtime/freedom so far. Although from what I'm hearing, there's a decent chance of getting more real freedom once I get back- some change they're doing army-wide in how AITs work. Details are kind of fuzzy. Also, saw Sweeny Todd last night. Amazing. Heavily recommended.
I am so excited to see Sweeney Todd! But no one I know wants to go... :/ I may have to go by myself... should be worth it though

You know, I was just thinking that this would've been the perfect time to start a new thread with "Now we don our gay apparel" as the title. But I guess it's a little late now.
Christmas here was good...got a few things I was hoping for--a good hair straightener, the soundtrack for Doctor Who, a few other CDs...
Unfortunately, no Guitar Hero. sigh. haha.
Nothing terribly exciting happened, although I did get to see my cousin, Kameron. He's been in Mexico and other such places for the past two years or so doing missionary stuff. He's always been my favorite cousin, and it's sad that I don't get to see him so much anymore.
Now i'm trying to fix my mom's computer-- She's somehow ended up with this wicked virus-thing called "Internet Speed Monitor". I have no idea how to get rid of it, except for a reformat, which is the last thing I want to do. So now it's time to hit up Google for some answers! haha.

My hair doesn't straighten for long. Since it's getting longer I'm gonna get a hair curler and just go the farrah faucett way and curl my bangs out (or try feathering them like Bon Jovi) Dunno.
New years resolutions anyone? I don't celebrate christmas but I love making a plan for the year. This year, for a few months at least I'm going to try to be a Vegetarian and cut out fried foods. I don't feel very healthy anymore.
And I'm gonna try to look on the bright side of things. Like when I start to say something negative I'm gonna force myself to stop and say something positive instead.
Anyone else thought of something they'd like to resolve to do for the new year?
Blue: No, I don't think so. However, it's totally amazing because it's one you can use while your hair is still damp. Saves me sooooooo much time. No more getting up two hours before class! Aahaha.
New Year's resolutions.....mine is probably to eat a little healthier. I don't eat TERRIBLY, but I know I could do better. Like drinking less soda. Maybe eating more fruits and veggies, although that can be hard at school. But if I just end up cutting back to a few sodas a week, instead of a few sodas a day, I'll be happy.
also, try and not get so stressed out with being executive editor at the paper. That one will just take some time management and some play mixed in with work. Having a great bunch of friends helps this already. Maybe being more social and going out more [even though I'm 2 years too young for a bar] will help as well.
and now i have to go do a load of laundry, before i can take a shower. i'm heading back to school tonight, to hang out with my newspaper friends.

Anyway, I've disappeared for a little while, as the University, where I do basically all my internet stuff, is closed for the holidays. I'm at a friend's house now, stealing her wireless.
Sweeney Todd wasn't bad. I nitpicked it mercilessly, because I'm a big fan of the original musical, but it could have been much worse.
There's the Tuatha Dé Danann. Are you a sidhe who disdained life in the sithen and left for the big city?
I'm not as cool as Kraj and so I don't have a trademarked favorite person...but if I did it would be Sakura. I've been talking with her alot lately and she's just plain nice. Plus she lives rather close, a 2-3 hour drive away, so maybe we could meet at a con or something. It would be great to meet any of the Gaymers. We could draft from my nearly complete Cube!
Yup, Tuatha De Danaan is what it is. Though I was a big fan of Willow when I was a tot.
As far as the Poppins plate, I'm not really sure what spurred me to use it as my avatar. Whimsy?
Speaking of images that appear on every post you make, now that I've seen Hairspray I absolutely adore your signature. That was my favorite song in the whole thing. (My second favorite scene was Nicest Kids in Town, just because of the Ms. Baltimore Crabs-kid with sock in pants interaction.)
<creeper>It's funny. I got online and I'm like, "I hope Tuatha has posted on gaymers so I can comment on her signature now that I've seen the movie." And I got the perfect opportunity. Yesssss yessssssss...</creeper>
I counted the number of guys who are straight who I had asked out mistakenly recently. Four in a row. Need to work on that gaydar.
I used to think Diligent Farmhand was kinda handsome.
I'm glad to hear good reviews of Sweeney Todd. I haven't had a chance to see it yet, and was hoping it would be good. I hate getting excited for a movie and being let down.
New Year's Resolutions? Do lots of yoga. Must get back muscle tone and flexibility. I hate being out of shape.
hey guys anyone want to buy an ipod from me
Please restrict that talk to this forum.

While working on an upcoming article, I happened to stumble across another Magic card to add to the short list of actual hot guys in Magic: Leeches
OK, so the view isn't the best and, well, he's got leeches all over him. But he's still rather hot.

BTW, I'm not sure if you've explained your name before, but it wouldn't happen to be a reference to Willow is it?

I think the Cenn's Heir is really cute.
Oh and a belated Merry Christmas / Dies Natalis Solis Invicti to everyone.
