Posted Sep 1, 2020With a couple of really odd exceptions (Balance, Natural Balance), wizards doesn't really do "anti-ramp" and this is the first card that feels both appropriately priced and effective of controlling ramp without land destruction.
Still not sure how usable this card would really be in Commander, though, even with the cantrip attached. It's a niche card like stony silence that has a pretty narrow niche.
