the hell is this? all rares and mythics are strongest ever printed but commons are whatever didn't make it into homelands?!

Yes, this card is bad, but it makes up for it by being funny.
The uncommons are also extremely pushed in this set.
I agree that the commons aren't at the same power level, but there are a few standouts: Callous Dismissal, Contentious Plan, Kasmina's Transmutation, Aid the Fallen, Kaya's Ghostform, Lazotep Reaver, Ob Nixilis's Cruelty, Grim Initiate, Heartfire Arboreal Grazer, Pollenbright Druid Return to Nature and Guild Globe.
This is a powerful set all around.

If it were 2/2, I could see myself playing it in limited.
