This goes infinite somehow, I can feel it.

Some situation where you can remove a counter from something to bring it back and/or (provide the mana to) sacrifice it. Persist of some kind, maybe mixed with a graft creature.

Man if this card name was used on a sorcery instead it would be pretty awesome.
