Not getting Palumbo to do the art for this card was a mistake! This is a legendary Elvish Visionary with a weird upside.

To be honest...just getting 2 cards off of this once is a ton of value. You don't need your opponent to target him for him to be good. While I appreciate trying to abuse him, playing multiple copies is just as good. It seems more like a secondary effect that he can go back into your library. Get your cards and don't worry about the recursion

The trick, I think, is in getting your opponent to target him. You can't make him a tempting target with auras, but equip him and you might find your opponents having to Vraska's Contempt knowing they won't even gain the 2 life. Not many equipment powerful enough for that, Blackblade Reforged is the only one that comes to mind.

I think the number of ways to find him from the library are too few to worry about. 1 card for entering play is fine. I'd prob throw him into a Lumbering Battlement deck so I could get 2 draws out of him (one at a time) while setting up whatever infinity my deck was set up for.

Lol, I think you just slot this into Spirits (or any blue co-co deck) and use it as an Elvish Visionary with upside, hitting Fblthp off Co-Co and getting the 2 cards is pretty good. Getting value off of Shardless is interesting though seems much worse than something like Ancestral.

I think he's going to find a deck...we'll just have to see what it is.

Vivien's Arkbow, Collected Company, Future Sight and similar effects, anything with Cascade such as Shardless Agent. There are combos, I'm just not sure there's a deck there.

You would have to be running spells that could target Fblthp but also have some other purpose in the deck. So I'm thinking heroic creatures like Hero of Leina Tower and spells that can target any number of your creatures like such as the Strive series (Nature's Panoply).

And I'll tell you what if you combine that into a functional deck you deserve some sort of prize.
