A little pricier to use than Contagion Clasp (remember to count the mana you effectively give up when using the ability!), but more useful in the times where you don't need to proliferate.

Question for the ages... can a 4-5 color superfriends deck really afford use a colorless utility land? Maybe using a nonland slot like maze of ith?

Probably use a nonland slot. Mostly that's how I use utility lands anyway.

Pretty nice with Everflowing Chalice and friends, gonna need a few copies of this
