Uncounterable isn't really a white thing. It's mainly red and green (because, you know, enemies), and very rarely something blue does (because blue knows all about counterspells and would thus be able to thwart them).
White can get counters, but they'd be more like Memory Lapse or Delay or Remand, and not as efficient as any of those.
If this had a Silence effect appended, it could be white. Or giving you a 1/1 token or some life (or, given this set, a +1/+1 counter) as a side benefit. Something like that.
