Posted Feb 7, 2020Phasing comes first. Cumulative Upkeep and Echo will both trigger afterwards (assuming it's not Phased out at the time, in which case, they don't trigger at all). The Cumulative Upkeep will always be 1 and the Echo will always be G. Fading does literally nothing unless someone manages to remove all 3 Fading counters between your Untap Step and your Upkeep Step, which seems highly unlikely. It would require a Vampire Hexmage or cards with EtB effects getting Flashed into play or a few other highly unlikely things.
