Oh wow. Not sure if it is worth it at cost, but it just FEELS like a card waiting to get broken.

Interesting how red is getting a lot of these types of experimental cards that change the way they play the game.

All you need is some turrets to put the mana into.

Red/green ramp with some big on-field mana sinks and massive X spells.

I actually think that this could be interesting with Kenrith, the Returned King in Mardu colors because it will let you play him for free, then use his black ability to revive massive threats while giving them haste and trample. Deafening Silence will let you minimize the downside of Fires of Invention by imposing a spell limit on both players.

Presumably you can use this to cast the likes of wheel of fate, which might be an egine unto itself.

I'm surprised by this card in a number of ways.

First, it's only 4 mana. They like to put big effects like this on 6cc cards. Sunbird's Invocation Mirror March Things like that.

Second, it's not color limited. It only has one Red mana in the cost which means it doesn't need a mono-Red shell. Further, I'd expect it to have a color limitation. Either, only gives you free Red spells or only let you cast things you could pay for.

Unless decks are playing a lot of enchantment hate, I can see this card being very good.
