What I find interesting is though his casting cost is in White, his effects seem to show preference towards Green and Red before getting to White.
He can also be a self-powered Voltron. If you have 7 mana on the board when you cast him, he's a three-turn clock: Cast him and swing for 5. Next turn, buff him to 8. The turn after that, buff him to 11 and that's a kill.
And if you're mana flooded and your opponents have blockers, you can just dump mana into his blue ability and dig for cards.
...Yeah, I think he's gonna see a lot of play. I deeply dislike 5-color commanders, but I'm still tempted to build a deck around him.
"How much money am I going to have to spend on this doosh canoe..."
Incubation druid, Lotus Field and yes, Biomancer's Familiar all seem really strong with this uptight demon-loving monarch (because lets be real, he ain't bringing people back from the dead without some demon-loving)
In commander, your deck can only be the color of your ... commander. So if Kenrith was king, er, I mean commander, wouldn't your deck be restricted to white?
Or is there some rule about colors within the card?
