MTG Salvation

This is incredibly powerful and lets you maximize your mana each turn by turning waste into +1/+1 counters. The condition on this card is incredibly easy to meet and it having flash and reach on top of this ability just makes this a really good curve card (e.g. play it at flash speed on turn 2, block their 1/1 flier, and then play your 1-mana card and buff this into a 4/4 who can attack on your turn).

This can get really big, really fast. Totally shuts down flyers. Flash. And an always relevant creature type. Seems very good to me.

For rules clarification - if this goes in my Elves Modern deck, and I play it with a Collected Company, can I count the creature that comes into play with it and activate this creature's ability at the same time with any extra mana I have available?

For clarification, my question isn't "how" it comes into play, but the timing. Since they enter at the same time with a CoCo, does the preserver "see" the creature that came into play at the same time that it did in order to trigger the Preserver's ability?

Yes as long as at least one non-human creature enters the battlefield this will trigger with Collected Company. This also goes for non-human creature tokens as well. Flickering a non-human creature also works. Any time a non-human enters the battlefield you may X for some counter goodness. It doesn't matter how a creature just as long as it is in no way a human. Heck an 0/0 dies to game rules faster that you can respond non-human creature will trigger this. This does not care how a non-human creature enters the battlefield nor how long it stays just that it entered.
