Oh this is a fun new take on the Elvish Manadork. I love it.

do you have to pay the card's mana cost for adventure to cast it again?

Adventure lets you cast the non-creature part and bank the creature in exile to be cast again later. You still need to pay all costs for that creature, but you don't pay the cost for the Adventure spell again.
