Gonna combine this with Silence in my Modern mono-white Angel lockdown deck. Most people don't use Silence offensively like I do, but I've found it to be quite helpful. Forces out either counters (making them waste precious mana) or shuts down for a turn after a board wipe, or buys you time on critical early turns against aggro. This set could be just what I needed to finish this thing!

Without a cantrip, this is a poor man's Abeyance.

I am legitimately dumbfounded by this card. It doesn't stop opponents from casting their instant spells when you try to end your turn (or from saving mana on their next turn to cast at the beginning of my next turn) so I can only really imagine it stopping sorcery spells... for one turn.

Are there a bunch of Modern or Eternal decks that rely on casting sorcery spells as quickly as possible? I am only coming up with storm and a good storm deck wouldn't even try to make their big move if you telegraph this spell (and you kind of have to, what with it being a sorcery).
