I guess Assassinate is just a white thing now.

Fair enough, but I remember when this ability was black for the longest time. Usually white opts for Smite if it can (e.g., not as a 187 unless flash is involved or a planeswalker ability). I could see white getting No Mercy at some point, though.

I guess Vengeance is sometimes a black thing but normally white, yes. Nowadays, Take Vengeance.

Swift Reckoning, Righteous Fury/Sunblast Angel, etc.
