Wow the flavor on this is so excellent! Reminds me of that scene in Lord of the Rings with the elephonts!

Also, design wise, it is pretty interesting. Could be useful for abusing ETB effects, or making mana dorks become a massive threat. Kind of like an amped up pilot effect.

Could be used to abuse ETB/LTB (not death) triggers, or unearth/persist/undying.

Wow, this is great for EDH where board wipes abound. I can see when I have several dudes lying in exile and my opponent thinks twice about casting that ***...

Exile as many creatures with coming-into-play effects as you can, swing with it once or twice, maybe be the one to cast the Wrath of God.

Or get three copies going, exiling each other in chain just like Worldgorger Dragon except voluntary.

This is basically five for a 6/7 vigilance almost all of the time. And then you get the creature back after. That's an absurd rate in limited, even without possible synergies. The fail case is fine too.
