A single card that counters my Grixis Twin...need to stop that from hitting the battlefield

New Magic phrase: "...if it isn't being declared as an attacker..." Over a quarter century and there's still bizarrely huge swaths of design space yet to be explored in this game.

I call it nerfspace. And it actually is a good thing, since you're nerfing what would otherwise be an insanely OP card (at least against decks not featuring Brave the Sands, Heliod, God of the Sun, and the like)

I can't get over how much I love this card. It adds value to your own spells that tap enemy creatures, it punishes your opponent for using mana dorks and other tap effects, and provides a late-game mana sink that synergizes with the whole package. It's beautiful, I want four and I'm building a deck around it.

It’s all right. The best part about it is it’s mans cost.
