These new Split cards are quite good. The Consume side of this card single-handedly solves the stupid problem of Carnage Tyrant. Praise Bolas.

Wow. The number of awesome cards that are coming out will make this Standard an unforgettable one. Almost every card is good and you can really build whatever you want as long as you pay attention to Card Advantage, Curve, and a coherent Strategy.

I don't think The quality of standard has much if anything to do with the power level of the cards, just if there is variation and the decks are interesting to play.

It's hard to say if a deck will not be dominant so far.

This card feels a bit weak to me to be honest.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I personally will be playing the Consecrate side of the card immediately and aggressively until The Eldest Reborn rotates.

Cremate and... something new, but not altogether radically different. Many players will soon taste the flesh of 12/12 dinos.
