Wait... I... you are totally right. I don'[t even know how I got this so incredibly wrong. I am kind of baffled here.

What do you mean about whiffing? Either card lets you draw the card before you select a land to put into play, the only differences are that Explore will allow you to trigger things like Horn of Greed, use lands from other zones with cards like Crucible of Worlds or Oracle of Mul Daya, or play lands you draw from other actions later in the turn. If you've been playing the land and then drawing a card when you play Explore, you've been doing it out of order, since you need to make your land drop with the stack empty

I know there are literally a hundred commons yet to be spoiled, but I'm calling it right now — this is going to be the best common in the set.

Simic just became a thing. This gonna be the 2 drop of choice alongside remand. Might even see courser of kruphix come back

Well, it has to say "put it from your hand to the battlefield" because the rules say you can never play a land on your turn. Not even if a card grants you permission.

This common is gonna be worth more than some rares in the set.

This card is pretty good and cool. Instant speed ramp rarely seen before and could be very good in controlling strategies. The fact it effectively costs 1 mana the turn you play it is just very strong. Most obvious fit is Bring To Light scapeshift in modern but I doubt it will make that deck good enough.

Looks fun, and the ability to play any land at instant speed means there might be some yet-unknown value to having a card like this available. Anything to do with removing counters on upkeep, or ETBT effects will benefit. Personally, I also like just being able to have UG lands out then flash in a red land to bolt something. Kind of reminds me of a (less good) Atarka's Command.

The art for this card is amazing. It'd make a great desktop background.
