Would this make Reflecting Pool tap for any color of mana? I assume it would, since this does have an ability that could produce any color, but I would like some confirmation.

Yes. Reflecting pool checks the abilities of all other lands you control and sees if they can add mana of a given type. This ability can produce mana of any color, so can reflecting pool. This also lets reflecting pool make colorless, which I didn't realize it could do until I reread the card looking up the rulings just now.

Every single card with a mana ability says "add". A card that adds G to your mana pool can also be said to produce G. That's the game's terminology.

crumbling vestige adds not produces so the pool would produce colorless mana only
