Red ramp that gets itself ded and takes its ramp with it as it goes. A lot of the time you'd be better off with a mana rock.

Notably, a snow permanent

That kind of bothers me. Otherwise, snow permanents tend to be things made out of the cold elements, not just someone who braves the cold. Goblin Furrier for instance isn't snow. Becoming a snow creature means embodying the frozen elements not just putting on a coat, but this guy doesn't care.
