This is the beariest Bear that the game could possibly bear.

Strangely, no notable male bears yet in this set. (The bear who went with the maiden to the fair is presumably male.)

I can see how this would enable the modern archetype of...
I mean...
She gets hit by CoCo, I guess?



... Half of this set is just going to be for commander, isn't it?

Words of Wilding, Fecundity, Ashnod's Altar, go!

I love the fact that it has the same P/T and casting cost as the original Grizzly Bears.

This is actually pushed enough to potentially enable a bear-centric deck, if we can find enough other bears to play. But looking through the options, there's not a lot to go with it that you would ever want to play with. If they were to reprint Words of Wilding as well in this set, then we're talking.

Venomous Changeling is effectively a Murder, for instance.

This set is full of Changelings, though, so this will be ABSURD in limited.

Teams up very well with Mother Bear.

In Modern, you do have access to things like Hardened Scales and Metallic Mimic, as well as Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma and a few related things. That and Mother Bear and Ayula's Influence and something like Nissa's Pilgrimage, maybe? Some way to bring lands back to your hand and you might be able to do some work.
