Interestingly, since returning the creature is a cost, that effect can't be countered. So it's essentially an uncounterable way to save one of your creatures from a nasty effect. However, it'll probably only be used to abuse ETB effects.
Like returning a Torrential Gearhulk and then maybe flashing him in again later to recast this.
