Please let there be a Gremlin lord in this block.

I find it somewhat funny that we may have to end up using artifacts to get a lord +1/+1 effect for these guys (Adaptive Automaton; Gauntlet of Power; Obelisk of Urd; etc.)

Anyone else wonder how this will work with investigate?

No need to wonder. Investigate put an artifact onto the battlefield (the clue token), so this will trigger. The trick it making a Rx Investigate deck as most investigate decks are WUG / UG.
