this is a great sideboard card against burn decks and breach decks

I wonder if this went in the file before splinter twin was confirmed banned

Hard to think of a better turn-1 play for a control deck.

Sorry, its not a control card.
Basically it would only be worth it against Burn in modern, and there are much better sideboard cards for that match, you would rather play kor firewalker or leyline or w/e since they can have relevance in other matchups too.
Its a tempo card.
This card is nice for a tempo deck that wants to race their opponent, since having blockers come in tapped and giving life makes it nearly impossible to race. Whether there is any white deck that cares, I'm not sure. It fits well in the hatebears strategy against creature decks, but I think they probably have better options for this effect. Could be decent in a spirits or merfolk shell I suppose, but probably just not powerful enough.
