Strictly better than Ranger's Guile. Infect players got a new tool.

Apostle's Blessing is the most likely cut. They both only target creatures you control and are primarily used for extra cover. Apostle's Blessing can be used defensively by givng a blocker protection and, on a very specific situation, allow an attacker to swing through unopposed. So while this card is less diverse than Apostle's Blessing, it does pump and get around spellskite and costs 2 less life. Both have merits.

It is better than Guile, but most people have already cut that card. I'm not immediately sure what might possibly be cut in favor of this.

Could be a big deal for infect in Modern. Kinda not looking forward to encountering this...

at most this will be a one of in infect, infect is much more interested in pump spells that increase in increments of 4 or greater. mutagenic growth, as it does not require mana, is the obvious exception.

Will this replace apostles blessing?

Definitely has my interest piqued for Infect. Not sure what I'd cut, but I'm going to skim through, and keep an eye out on this card.

Everyone talking about modern, but thoughts on standard? Seems cool in a RG aggro?
