A lot of superlatives for this one. I'm thinking more like 'no'. The prerequisite is real. The one mana tax of any chains you could pull off is real. I'm thinking cast BOTH or this is maybe not what it's being suggested to be. The reason to play, in these estimations, would be card advantage, no? But this requires a setup. And although this can be proven wrong, it is USUALLY so. You USUALLY don't play things that can brick like this one can. You can get hit by Path to Exile rather than kill. And decks would go BACK to the currently less played confidant before hitting this up. More like Fume Spitter, Augur of Skulls, Emberwilde Augur, Hypnotic Specter, the former, and maybe that's a deck. Even though specter doesn't have 2 cmc. He could be pumped. Truly hitting the thing hard. It's not like there's NO card here, but cool it. Likely.
