If you have that many creatures untapped that this becomes better than fog, you probably don't need a fog, right? I mean it might be solid as a way to tap your King Macar, the Gold-Cursed and similar cards, but the convoke is just so overcosted that I don't like this.

Chord of Calling into a potential Spore Frog gains a lot of utility over this and serves the same function.

It's still a way to counter someone trying to combat trick you into a blowout in creature based decks, and another fog effect for the nexus and other turbofog decks in standard.
