Vampiric Rites is a cool effect, and having it on a creature that brings lots of friends is great, even if said creature costs six mana.

The good news is Sweltering Suns is rotating out. The bad news is that we're getting Deafening Clarion to replace it and there are still plenty of boardwide ping effects.

If it does bring a horde. How often do you think you'll get more than 3-4? If this thing dies immediately, it won't be able to use them for its second effects. I just think that it should be a 2/4, so it's not quite so easily killed.

Lightning strike doesn't kill the horde of 1/1s this thing brings to the board.

I love Vampiric Rites, but I think there are easier ways to get sacrifice fodder. My problem with this guy is that it dies to Lightning Strike instantly, and costs 6 mana.

A single Sweltering Suns ruins this guy and everything he creates.

6 mana is way too much for this effect on this body, unfortunately. Even at BBGG it’d be fair but not really all that amazing.

Sacrifice outlet, instant speed card draw, and token generator in Commander?

Decent as a commander, probably better in the 99; I see myself playing her in Muldrotha.

what a waste. For 6 mana it should either make elves or have a decent body or inherent trample or hexproof or something...

or be this:
When Izoni etb, draw a card for each creature card in your graveyard.
Sacrifice an elf: Target player discards a card...


THAT would be worth 6 mana
