That poor wurm needs Trample. Seems like a good fling target! More than anything, just happy to see Convoke is back. Maybe we'll even get a Chord of Calling reprint?

It's pretty massive and indestructible goes well with the going-wide mentality that Convoke presents, so I think it's a pretty good card. Also, new biggest creature printed-stats on a black-bordered card?

Dies to four copies of Grasp of Darkness, literally unplayable

In all seriousness, this card seems pretty cool, although it's in dire need of trample. 10 mana for a 16/16 seems decently efficient though, especially with convoke and indestructible. Won't see much play in Standard, but it'll terrorize kitchen tables for years to come.

If it had trample, it would be totally broken, given the fact that you can sneak it in play easily via the convoke ability. A great card IMO.

Standard green Stompy?

Absolutely going into my green stompy deck yes. In full magical christmas land; Llanowar, Elfhame druid + second Llanowar, Grow From the Ashes kicked + another dork, turn 4 this thing could be dropped. Could maybe go even faster in a Saproling deck, what with Convoke.
