YES YES!!!! Zombies!

I am so excited for this little guy. He's awesome early game (madness), and late game (dumping landflood, drawing cards with outclassed zombies). He even makes zombie friends for his own ability. Sticky as hell with Relentless Dead. Very happy with this card.

I am liking what I see for Zombies, including this guy. My only problem will be deciding just which Zombies to run in a mono-black Modern Zombie deck.

I think Gravecrawler is the better 1 drop too. Have you considered using Phyrexian Obliterator for your top end? The BBBB isn't as intimidating in mono black. I know you're building tribal, but he's a heck of a beater.

I think I'd do a 2/2 split with Phatty and Risen Executioner

i dont look at this and say ooh madness.. i look at it and say oooh set up delirium. and also set up my diregraf collosus to be bigger.

It's ok, but tapping zombies instead of attacking with them is actually a huge cost.

If you have an opening to attack, you attack. Think of it as something to do when the zombies are outclassed, or you're playing defense. Being able to threaten a block and tap end of opp's turn is pretty good.
