It's definitely not Aetherworks Marvel, but it's not terrible, either. I suspect though that you're more likely to just want to ramp into the big cards you'd put into play with this. Maybe it'll just fit into ramp decks as an alternative way to get stuff out quickly. It's a reasonable one-of in a deck that already has a plan. It's awful as a 3-4-of in a deck trying to make this the plan. Worth testing, Abrade be damned.

I think needing to have the bomb card in your hand instead of pulling from your library makes it a little worse. Sure, you don't fail spin to wins, but you also have to have it. The lack of a cast trigger means it probably won't see much Modern play, but Marvel hasn't exactly either.

All that said, you can still put into play some great permanents in Standard. It should prove to be a fun card to build with. I'll almost certainly try it as a one-of at some point.

turn 4 play any OP creature you want. remember if it's strong and Op it's probably legendary.

4 colorless mana to play any legendary permanent. COLORLESS. FOUR. Eight colorless to ramp it straight out of your hand in a single turn. This isn't even a mythic rare. I cannot even with this set.

This really isn't too different from Quicksilver Amulet, I don't think there's a need to freak out about this card.
