my question is if this will work with urborg that legendary land that makes all lands swamps in addition to their other types... it doesn't specify basic swamps, but it would make basics of any other color basic swamps still

Prismatic Omen doesn't make the lands Basic, just all the basic land types, similar how changeling makes cards like Nameless Inversion every creature type without turning them into a creature.

well that's still quite good because that means you can use this card+urborg in a multicolored deck as long as you have alot of basic lands in it.

Kinda But not really. If the land was a basic land that Urborg made a swamp, like lets say an basic "Waste" or basic "Island" then yes it would work, but if it wasn't a basic land to start like lets say a "Savannah" or "Urborg" itself then no it will not. as the_retired_champion said "Urborg" doesn't give a land the supertype "Basic" and without that "Cabal Stronghold" will not count it swamp or not.

No it will not because they become swamps but will not have the basic supertype

You'd be tempted to call this a strict downgrade from Cabal Coffers, but having that T: add 1 makes enough of a difference in starting hands for me to just call this a sidegrade-downgrade.
