MTG Salvation

This is a bad card. No one played healing salve, no one should play this. Even in limited.

It's a pretty cheap way to trade two-for-one with Lightning Bolts out of your sideboard for burn! And salve is not the worst combat trick in limited, it's 23rd card potential for sure, but its better than some because it's cheap! I think its a worse card here in this set than it was in, say, 7th/8th edition, just because of power creep, but it does a decent enough Stave Off impression.

I like the art and the flavor text, at least. It implies the Church believes Serra is still alive in some fashion, or at least watching over her people. My dream is to have a Serra planeswalker card, and though I am sure it won't happen, I'd love it if they broke the Powerstone fueling the Weatherlight and Serra's Realm sprang back into existence.
