Discontinuity
Oracle Text
As long as it's your turn, this spell costs
less to cast.End the turn. (Exile all spells and abilities from the stack, including this card. The player whose turn it is discards down to their maximum hand size. Damage wears off and this turn and until end of turn effects end.)
I like cards that allow for such interactions, so I'm curious to see the fun combos this card enables.
Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded no longer sacrifices your creatures.
Ilharg, the Raze-Boar no longer bounces the creatures it summons.
Mirror March no longer sacrifices your tokens.
Hmm, I think I have a problem. Maybe not every deck needs to be Izzet.
Not sure what good it is though. Trying hard to think feasible scenario's where the time stop on your turn is useful. I guessed at first as a situational counter on your turn but that would generally only make sense if you are trying to force something through which obviously won't work as your own spell is removed from the stack. All the things I can think of are very fringe or gimmicky (like avoiding end of turn triggers).
But then again a deck playing this card is most likely to be some sort of flash deck. The only reason i could think of wanting to play this card is some sort of wilderness reclamation deck or flash deck itself.
