A grizzly bear that leaves behind a leonin scimitar....seems alright

I kind of really like this. Just seems efficient.

Right, but I'm tempted to say this will see some constructed play.

Well, it's an actual threat on its own for just W more than Leonin Scimitar, or it leaves a Scimitar behind unlike Glory Seeker, so, yeah, efficient.

I wonder how this interacts with Sword of the Meek Is the creature ever 1/1, or does it come into existence as a 2/2 due to being equipped before SotM triggers?

A 1/1 entering with Gaea's Anthem on board doesn't trigger the ETB, and I don't think there is any time where the token exists but isn't equipped yet. Everything on Ancestral Blade's ETB happens all at once and triggers go on the stack when its done and the token is 2/2.

I mean, again the point is moot because you would have to have some combo to move the equipment.

I think this is largely accurate yes. To break it down, the token would ETB as a 1/1, triggering any ETB effects such as Sword of the Meek, which would be placed on the stack. However, the Ancestral Sword would automatically equip itself to the creature before anything on the stack resolves, so that when Sword of the Meek does resolve, it see's a 2/2 creature - there is no legal target.

I think mechanic Living Weapon should answer most any rules functionality questions that this card could throw up realistically, as it's only difference is the token size.

I've looked at similar rulings and I'm now like 99% sure that what happens is the creature comes onto the field, Sword of the Meek look at it and sees its a 2/2 the same as if you had cast Glory Seeker to begin with. But even if it did trigger, you would have to be a 1/1 by the time it resolved so Leonin Shikari could help you there and this sounds like the workings of an absolute toilet tier white equip deck if I'm going to be honest.

The Token itself is a 1/1, which enters the battlefield (triggering all relevant abilities), then has the sword it came from attached to it. Wether abilities like Meek will trigger depends on the conditions for them to resolve, IE: legal targets.
