Another flavor success, to be sure. Are there enough cheap Demons to really make this much of a win condition? I don't know about that, but it's still a really cool card.

Before even considering the second half of the card, I want to point out that "Draw 4, pay 4 life" for 3BB is already fairly solid as a black card. It might not make the cut by itself, especially not being an instant, but I'm saying that it needs very little extra beyond that to be good enough to play. Other than a straight-up combo, You could play a Demon deck that considers this mostly a draw spell, sometimes a dumb-luck auto-win that you don't bank on happening.

R&D must be laughing about this card. Hey look, a Standard-legal wincon... aaand it's gone.
