MTG Salvation

I love the art and flavor. Still not going to edge out Wrath or Settle for me, but the versatility is nice. A slightly cheaper, less flexible Austere Command.

Purify is one of those cards that is just slightly too risky to run in your maindeck, but adding a wrath of god mode to it makes it the easiest maindeck card ever. This card is really strong.

Standard yes, commander yes. Modern, no, because modern is not really about those 5 mana spells.

For Standard, you think, or do you see this being potentially good enough to include one or two in Modern?

Look super cool for EDH. Slot it in with Austere Command and have the most flexible wrath collection possible!

Hey, look, a boardwipe for brawl.

Flexibility is a really good thing. This won't out-power the 1 mana less (or bury effect) of Wrath of God or Damnation, and but it's still one of the better sweepers they have printed.
