I think it's a bit funny how the new Nicol Bolas just barely triggers the first half, while the old one would trigger the second half.

This would be pretty solid enough if you had to sacrifice it on resolution of that second ability, but now I'm just thinking about how to chain Phyrexian Dreadnoughts to just murder people. Interesting card! Seems strong!

Fortunately for EDH players, Sparkcaster and Shivan Wurm both exist. Though they're too expensive for Aluren.

In Standard, you have dinos.

This is really interesting. I wonder if it will make big red a thing. Glorybringer, Hazoret & Phoenix approve.

Approach 1: sweltering suns, abrade, lightning strike

Approach 2: Skirk Prospector, Catalyst Elemental, Chandra and/or Jaya

Why could this not have existed in a Standard format with the Dash mechanic!?
