It's been a while since I've seen an elf deck on the beatdown plan rather than a big mana plan. The strategy seems more suited to Merfolk or Slivers these days.

You've got Skyshroud Poacher to consider as well.

yeah, I've been thinking the same thing. Also, you can't even tutor up the other copies the turn this enters, it may be a little slow to replace Elvish Visionary, but maybe it will help change the Elves' plan.

This seems decent. Elves don't have a 2 mana lord which might give this some use in modern elves although the focus is often a bit more on combo.
