A clone that can't copy opponent's creatures, so its fair that it should be cheaper and lower rarity. Has potential nonetheless

It would be nice in decks that want more copies of something, and, in general, relying on opponents to have better cards than you is a poor strategy. But the flexibility is missing.

flavor wise? i suppose it's because you're creating an actual clone, AND THERE CAN ONLY BE 1 LEGENDARY THAT HAS THYNE NAME....*cough* or something

That would also make sense. From a flavor point, why do clones follow the legend rule?

And here i was wishing it copied but kept it's name

A lot of the strategies from Dominaria want multiple copies of legendaries

This would stay in play at end of turn if you copied one of Nissa’s 5/5 Land Creatures right?
