These two are interesting in that they’re much less useful when you don’t have both out. Quite good when together though.

this seems not very good. it's vanilla 1/4 for three mana unless you spent additional five mana for the partner. in a color that often wants to play interaction and keep open mana. and each boardwipe adds 4 to this equation.
the fact that you usually get one land from others decks immediatelly is nice though. on average it gives random ramp or removal spell so this offsets the cost as well.
it may be interesting if rest of the deck provide ways to play him at instant speed so it is possible to spread the cost between two consecutive turns.

there are also two problems not related to what the card does. first is the mechanis of specific counters on exiled cards. this demands space on already prone to cluttering board at least one additional pile of cards on the board). second one is that it may be just the digital version of the picture but the colors hurt my eyes. maybe this looks better in foil.
