True, though there's still plenty of decks that'll run it regardless because it does still protect it during your entire turn.

It’s only your turn though, useless against removal played at sorcery speed. Still, it’s better than a waste ig. Except not really cause it’s nonbasic.

This is amazing in decks utilizing maelstrom wanderer or other etb and cast effects repeatedly while avoiding the commander tax if only for a single shot. That is, unless something *cough crucible of worlds cough* existed to play lands after they were in grave.
