Not a big fan of this card. Your commander would have to die helluva lot of times before you get value out of this card. I would say on average my commander dies between 2-4 times in a typical commander game.

Personally I want to see someone throw this in a Spellslinger deck. Shu-Yun, the Silent Tempest, or Narset, Enlightened Master could be fun.

I kind of misread this card. I don't know why but for some reason I had it in my head that I was getting 1/1 white spirit tokens with flying. Its weird I am so used to reading certain phrases on some cards that it throws me off even though the words are right in front of me in black and white. My revised opinion is this is okay. You are correct Indigo. Most of my commanders tend to be in the 5-8 cmc cost so it does vary.

I don't know. I think it depends on the general. there's a ton of powerful low-mana commanders in white, and it can get pretty easy to recast them 2, 3, 4 times, especially in 3 or 4 player games. And given that Serra Angel is a 4/4 for 3WW... I'd say two flying 4/4s for 4WW hits minimum value. So cast your commander once and you get two angels. Your commander doesn't even have to die even once to get there! If your commander dies just once you get three angels for 2 mana each. That is absolutely bonkers! To be honest, this card is as low-costed as it could be for that effect. Any cheaper and it would be a little bit on the broken side.
