If we get a good 2 or 1 drop mana dork this card will be insane for ramp decks. Just imagine playing something like a Sylvan Caryatid into this turn 3. +1 her and now you have 2 open mana to either protect her with a control spell or advance your hand or board with something else. Turn 4 you will have 7 mana provided you hit all 4 of your land drops and she lives. And even if you miss one you'll still have 6. Animist's Awakening seems really good here as you could easily set up eldrazi plays on turn 5 and 6 and we've only cast 3 cards at this point. Kiora going to 5 loyalty counters is a decent cushion against midrange and maybe even aggro provided you have the utility to protect her with the open mana as she is not impervious to a good swing plus card. Kiora just soaked up a turn and a removal spell or two. And if she lives through opp.'s turn 3 or 4, depending on who played first, they'll probably be tapped out for a wide open, something-gigantic, spell. And I haven't even touched on her game breaking ultimate or -2 card advantage.

If you already have a big creature, Kiora + Whisperer Of The Wilds will allow you to cast some sweet ass spells.

yes, while the quotes end before the second set of tokens, when they come out they still technically trigger it because they are coming on to the field and are in fact creatures, triggering the effect again

When you use the -8 ability, this happen.
1) Get the emblem
2) Then get 3 Octopus tokens
3) Since the emblem is in play, each token triggers the emblem and gets to fight a creature.
4) That ends the sequence.

I suspect that many people will read this as though the emblem says, "creature arrives...fight...get 3 octopus".

I expect to see the same stupidity at the pre-release that happened with Book Burning.
