I agree as far as standard goes by the way things look right now. However, I think the artifact synergy in Origins will make it see play for at least few months.

Draft wise, right now, I'd take it over most the cards in the set so far, obviously, we can't rightly say much yet, but I think it might be good to ramp into those big beaters who only want a hug, like Ulamog the Ceaseless Hunger.

Commander, I couldn't agree more. All my decks (Surrak Dragonclaw, Ghaji, Horned One, and Jarrad, Litch Lord) want a card like this, because Hex is a card that exists so well with something like Dictate of Erebos sooner rather than later, and I know that in Surrak it helps ramp into Dramstone Hedron, which helps ramp out Atarka, World Render, Tyrant of Discord, and/or Thorn Elemental, plus card draw in Naya is needed so badly.

Lel, Jace and that deadpan snarker, right there.

Finally, the midway point between Mind Stone and Dreamstone Hedron! Strictly better than Ur-Golem's Eye and Sisay's Ring, and almost (but not quite) on par with Thran Dynamo thanks to the draw utility.
