It has early game & late game value. Early game for cheaper planeswalker drops. Late game for a 2-drop permanent boost to all of your creatures.

now try this sentence again, except this time say the good things that happen in both scenarios

If you cast earlygame, you pump your Thraben Inspector (or any other 1 drop, and get Turn 3 Gideons, Nahiris, Chandras.

If you cast midgame, you pump more creatures, and setup Turn 5 Sorins, Big Chandras, Ajanis, etc.

If you cast lategame, you pump lots of creatures, and setup counter-proofed planeswalkers, or be able to play both a walker and have removal as a backup to protect them.

IMO it seems like a good card throughout the whole game, and will see heavy play as a result, at least in decks that benefit most from the counters, like GWx Tokens.

i wanna keep flickering this card already for counters all day
