Is this the real Tezz or is it one of those new weird intro deck walkers? It's.. ok, seems a bit meh at 6cmc

this is the Planeswalker pack one. It's still pretty solid in standard, might see fringe standard play, assuming the -3 ability is unique to this walker.

I believe they are referring to an artifact deck. Only 30 artifacts wouldn't usually use Breya. If you have an artifact deck with only 30/100 cards being artifacts, you are doing something wrong. Depending on your Commander meta, most artifact decks will have at least 10 artifacts (lands, tokens, and drops) by turn 6. So essentially, you cheat in a Magister Sphinx and then end them with this Tezz. All depends, but crazier stuff happens in Commander.

I could actually see this playable in standard. As a 1-2 of in a control deck with only a few artifacts as finishers. IE a few U/B gearhulks. Use the +1 to always find a gearhulk, everyturn.

Funny, the art looks kind of like an older Kirk Hammett.

Let's make walkers that aren't interesting outside of the PW decks. Yes Wizards, this certainly isn't playable outside of the planeswalker decks. It only instantly wins the game if you are playing commander with atraxa and have plaguemaw beast and one more engine on the field. That's without considering ramp from mana rocks or creatures getting to the guy.

Will admit, though. The new PW deck Ajani definitely is crap. Also just realized this is the "weak and relatively harmless tezzeret". What the heck is the good tezz going to be like?

This is probably not a planeswalker deck card. We've seen Ajani, and we've seen the Nicol Bolas Sacrifice spell (The onethat can exile to give a loyalty when you play Bolas). The decks are most likely Ajani and Nicol Bolas.
They only did 2 last time, so this isn't from a PW deck.

You're right, I forgot the number. Wonder what that means for the Bolas card then?

Honestly if you put him in a deck full of artifacts you're using him all wrong. I ran about 6 artifacts in a deck I used that incorporated clues and improvise and it was stellar. By limiting the amount of artifacts in my deck his +1 became very consistent and got me exactly what I needed most of the time. Also his -3 is very strong (especially with clues) as it does not deal damage and instead goes straight to "life loss" which means it's VERY hard to avoid and/or redirect. He's not the best out there, but if you abuse his +1 by converting him into a "Get me these 3 specific artifacts" card he becomes VERY handy. Usually I would just let the enemy hit him or just kill him with his -8 after I got what I wanted over the last 3 turns (Which was practically every time).
