MTG Salvation

I think gleancrawler is one of those guys where it looks good on paper, but he really needs to fit in a certain deck. I mostly use tokens, and creatures that bring themselves back for my sacs.

If i was playing a living death style deck, yeah that'd be awesome, but i mostly use tokens, and almost all the time he was just a 6/6 trample for 6. Which is great, but i didn't like it.

Why no Gleancrawler?

No problem, i put up indications of sac outlets and how many.

The only reason i don't lump them into "Sac outlets" is because i mostly use them for the other effect. The sac is more of a side benefit i suppose, but you've got to have the outlets either way.

Mind making another little list towards the bottom of your decklist stating the number of sacc outlets? The Altars and Attrition are the obvious ones, but the outlets are all over the place(Perilous Forays in the ramp, Skullclamp in the card-draw, etc.). I've found that it really helps to know the number of sacc outlets in a deck that turns creatures into resources(I've built/helped build Teysa, Marrow-Gnawer, Sek'kuar, Bloodbond Rats, Ulasht, and Shirei). This deck looks like a ton of fun, and right up my alley, so knowing the sacc outlets would really help me with some brainstorming Savra.

Creakwood is in my deck at the moment.. but i'm still not sure about giving him permanent place. I was recently tutoring for a way to fill the board.. and i just glazed over him like nothing. He needs to be an early play for him to be great. Yes the b/g token is neat for savra, but most of the time i can gain the life back no problem, so i don't have to resort to cards that are b/g

Nath is kinda in the same place. He has no immediate ability. I have to wait till my turn.. then i make someone discard 1 and i get 1 1/1 token with summoning sickness. It's just slow when i'm not running discard

But i am getting a black myojin, but still i think it's not as efficient. Sanguine bond is i think a bit awkward too.. it might be a cut.

any thoughts on creakwood liege? he seems like hed be really good here. also no nath? looks like itd be a lot of fun to play though.
