Veronica Mars: In my backyard

When I came home tonight an unexpected show of sorts awaited. As I sat on the city bus and was approaching my stop, I noticed a police barricade in front of us. Having seen trucks and vans by the nearby bar, O'Connell's, in the morning, I assumed it was some sort of concert. Five minutes later, once the police, one officer by herself, actually, had cleared the area wide enough for a bus to go through, it was apparent that it was not a concert. There were cameras, very bright lights hanging from a cherry-picker, and people everywhere. What would film at O'Connell's, however, was puzzling.

The answer awaited about fifteen minutes later when I went to the local market to pick up soup and plastic bowls. It was there that I found out it was Veronica Mars that was shooting. Being set in San Diego, I guess it shouldn't be too surprising but it was still somewhat interesting. At any rate, I have never seen the show, but will try to catch a few on cw.com to see this episode.

Anyone like the show? Anyone have similiar experiences?
